Day 5
A trip to Colorado Springs and surrounds.

Pikes Peak

Crystal Reservoir

 Retirement in Colorado they fish at Crystal Reservoir.

Couldn't drive to the top because Universal Studios is shooting the next Fast and Furious movie at the summit.

On the descent

We drove through Garden of the Gods.

Then we lunched at Manitou Springs a cute little town at the foot of Pikes Peak.

Helen Hunt Falls, don't spose anyone knows why we went there?

We chose to drive back on my favorite sort of road Lower Gold camp Road, dirt, a vertical drop, and one way which involved reversing back to a passing point when a car came the other way. We went through the mountain instead of over it twice.
