Day 6

Today we went to Red Rocks Amphitheater... we are so lucky as Marianne has taken the month off to drive us around and show us the sights, so we don't have to drive on the wrong side of the road (they wouldn't lend us the car).

The amphitheater
There are so many fit people in Colorado, we have seen them, rock climbing, hiking, running the length and height of the amphitheater and riding bikes of courses.

A Ford Classic parked at the 'slop shop' Bear Creek Inn where we had lunch.

The Inn was overlooking Bear Creek
The sign posting said if a bear attacks, fight back. Pity Rosie is half the size of a big bear!

Lunch what a tasty dish, thought all the GOMs would like this:

Our next stop was Evergreen Lake where we hiked the one mile circle trail around the lake.

Pete saw a girl repeatedly running up and down the steps and thought he'd join in, nothing to do with how cute she was?!

We saw a man in a blow up kayak, he said "inflatables were great because he had plenty of hot air to put into them"

Another form of exercise, in the rapids under the spillway resisting the force of the water.

Home again the dogs needed their exercise.
